Please don't call the players bots, Dea is one of the best players anyways, so it's not like the skill level of people playing against them matters that much, at the end of the day, being able to play a match is what's important.

@@falconimation1 2d. Mk is stiff like fighting mannequins. Soul caliber I would put up there but never gets the recognition. Street fighter is like Ford or Apple. Been around a long time and nobody wants to admit it hasn't gotten any better. Just a new skin and maybe a new mechanic or 2. Call of duty of fighting games.

@@ninefingerjack Street fighter changed alot, but for the worse Soul calibur I'm personally not a fan I feel like they should give u framedata at least Tekken 7 is not as good as tag 2 imo and I'm not a fan of alot of it Virtua Fighter was actually super fun imo As of 2d games being stiff, I personally am a huge fan of skullgirls

@@falconimation1 totally forgot about virtua fighter. Yeah I can get behind tag 2 bring better, the mechanics felt less, for lack of a better term, bouncy. They felt more grounded. Soul caliber is slow. Almost as if it was developed for the switch. The first iteration. For me Tekken is king for versatility. Adaptability. Doesn't require meters, stamina bars, chip damage, or overly hyper character movement. It just put a lot of people with differing fighting styles together. Some games boast diversity of moveset but really comes down to a handful of characters being good in the meta, whereas I've seen numerous iterations of characters in Tekken (and smash thanks to hungrybox) useable if you get the right player. There is a differing move for each side step with having to input 3-5 buttons for one attack. Not to mention differing moves for rising vs falling in jump and rising vs falling from prone. Situational awareness reigns supreme of not only your own moveset but your opponents when they change from standing still to crouching.

@@ninefingerjack I mean I have to disagree in some points, for example meta wise you can tell which characters in tekken are Meta Geese is defo not the same as Jack-7 for example. As in requiring 5 buttons idk what u mean by that personally, I know combos in skullgirls require u to use every button at least once to be useful As of Tekken... I think the combo damage is too high for a 3d fighter, I prefer Virtua Fighter in that regard Skullgirls for me is more versatile than tekken, but that's more about characters being more unique as of tekken I end up having a big character crysis cause no one is interesting imo I did fall into playing Jack-7 cuz he feels super intuitive to me And playing Violet cause he needs to out in work for his damage and has like 5 different just frames Lately thinking of learning Panda for the memes or Steve cause I like Steve's gameplan Hyper movement in tekken does exist KBD and sidestep did get nerfed but mishimas and some other characters still have the wavedash tho, chip damage also exists in tekken just like meter, with some characters (Eliza Geese and Akuma) u just can't die of it As of diversity in the moveset but meta being picked skullgirls has only viable characters with each a very different style. Ofc some characters are a bit more picked cuz they're a bit more versatile in a team, ms'fortune for example lacks a good assist, except if used with some certain characters or in solo Anyways let's not make this comment too big, I still play tekken occasionally just cuz it's popular, I prefer virtua fighter overall cuz it's more poke heavy, despite being able to throw ppl out the stage, which is map awareness.
